Military Man & Momma's Boy
The Military Man and
The Mama's Boy

Jody Fuller
Growing up in Opelika, Alabama, Jody Fuller had to overcome two things: poverty and stuttering. "If I had a nickel for every time I was made fun of, I would have retired at 12." By joining the Army, Jody overcame the poverty, but the stuttering still gets the best of him. Jody loves the military and everything about the military, with the exception of three things: waking up early, shaving, and running. Unfortunately, those are the first three things a soldier does every single day. So, after 8 years of active duty, Jody decided to join the National Guard and chase the dream of being a professional stand-up comic. So far, so good! Whether he's talking about stuttering, serving in the army, deploying to Iraq (twice), growing up poor, going to college, or working at a grocery store, his unique perspective will keep you entertained from the moment he hits the stage. He has performed for the troops in the United States, as well as Iraq. He performed at the 2007 DC Comedy Fest. Jody was also selected as one of the five finalists in the 2005 Wendy’s Stand Up For Good Taste Comedy Challenge at The Comedy Festival in Las Vegas.

Matt Baetz
Originally from the Baltimore, MD, Matt spent most of his childhood dreaming of a career in broadcast journalism.  After 2 years anchoring his high school morning news program, Matt decided to leave the journalism hotbed of Maryland and D.C. for a college career in the rolling hills of Tallahassee, FL. the first in a long line of poor decisions that would force Matt into stand-up comedy.

After college Matt worked for nearly every network in the country: NBC, ABC, ESPN & The Golf Channel during which time he slowly lost most of his hair and consequently his chances for membership in the news anchor hall of fame.   Then one night he decided to check out an open mic in Altamonte Springs, FL. The semi-famous, although quite possibly, closed down, 'Why Not Lounge?', was the site of Matt's first show and the end of his dreams of being the next Marv Albert.

Like many comedians, Matt's love of attention and cheap laughs outweighed the support he was getting from his girlfriend of three years and so he packed his bags, kissed her goodbye, gassed up his Ford Focus and headed for the Hills.
In the four years since arriving in LA, Matt has appeared twice on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson as a stand-up comedian and over fifty times as a featured performer in various comedy sketches.  He worked with Craig Ferguson on a pilot about his life as a struggling comedian, entitled, "The Matt Baetz Project."  Although it wasn't picked up Matt got to work with Piper Perabo and Wolfgang Puck.

Matt also works as the Comic Booker for The Late Late Show working with and developing new talent.  He also works as a writer's researcher on the show.

This is Matt's second trip to The Middle East.
