Small Guy Music Fashion Rock Show & Josh Goode Band

Matthew JC, the owner of Small Guy Music has created a CD compilation for our troops called ‘Operation Rock The Troops’.  Over the last two years he has delivered more than 15,000 to them personally with the band he manages, The Josh Goode Band! The CD features 39 artists signed and unsigned bands from all over Texas. It has been three years in the making but has finally lifted off in the form of three tours overseas and over 20 Fashion Rock shows right here in Dallas. Each local show has estimated over 1000 in attendance.

They have already visited military bases from Korea to Japan, Kwajalin, Guam and Greenland. This Dallas based business is reaching out to our soldiers and lifting morale with music! 

But the exciting news now is that they plan on embarking upon their 4th tour overseas… this time bringing Matthew JC’s Fashion Rock Show concept from JC Model Group to our troops. It will include a Fashion Show while the Josh Goode Band performs live. All the models will be autographing posters which they will personally hand to the troops for FREE! Also the Josh Goode Band with all the models will be handing out the Operation Rock The Troops CDs and other merchandise at the end of all events!

The tour will consist of 12 shows spanning across Turkey, Egypt, Italy, Spain and Portugal.

Aside from the hard work for our troops, Matthew JC and Josh Goode have also won 2 Emmys for the Promo Sports Spot for The Dallas Mavericks theme song with UPN 21 in 2006, and for Music Composition and Arrangement for their catalog of original music in 2007. They have also been responsible for theme songs for the Dallas Cowboys/CBS 11 in DFW Market, as well as other major clients such as Right Guard/Dial, RGX, Force Protection and many more. Small Guy Music is truly taking off in the US and began by giving back to our troops in the form of music and by saying thank you for everything that they do.

This is truly an exemplary show of dedication and hard work by a local business that is paying off for our families and friends overseas! It is something that will not stop as you can never say thank you enough to our men and women that serve our country!

JOSH GOODE BAND

The Josh Goode Band has made huge waves all over the D/FW metroplex and beyond. The highly musically trained band has won both criticial and crowd accolades for their infectious, unique blend of pop, rock, jazz, reggae, ska, and funk. Jennifer Robertson of the Denton Record-Chronicle hailed them as "a leading force in what the Dallas-Ft. Worth-Denton area can offer in musical ability," and Shar Pike of collegeartist.com named the JGB "an A+ band that doesn't disappoint." The band played headlining shows all over Texas and beyond, performing over 20 shows a month for the last 2 years straight is simply a band that knows how to entertain.
