DrumJam was created in 2003 when Chris Saad and Michael Ihnat shared the vision of turning percussion from a mere afterthought to the main focus on stage. After acquiring the Frampton-esque and charasmatic guitarist Zach Hennig, the frenetic drummer, Dylan Saad and the robotic styled, Ryan Dennis, the group set out to change peoples lives around the world through the act of percussive performance. It was only a matter of months until DrumJam won consecutive talent competitions all over Texas and soon gained national exposure. Later, they found themselves opening for Blue October, Los Lonely Boys and the Blue Man Group, winning the "GRAMMY Artists Showcase" and performing on national television several times. DrumJam was also named the top finalists for the global music competition "Famecast" after competing with over 500 artists from around the world. The band has recently toured in Guam, Hawaii and Japan within the last month and Beruit, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Manila in the summer of 2009. It would truly mean the world to DrumJam if we had the opportunity to perform for the ones who dedicate their lives fighting over seas.
