| Recognized as one of America's sexiest female athletes
(ESPN) and holding 15 Womens Professional Billiard Association (WPBA) titles, Jeanette "The Black Widow"
Lee takes her trick shots and savy pool strategy to troops stationed in Korea, Guam, Okinawa and Japan
Feb. 6 through 20. Hosted by Armed Forces Entertainment and Navy Morale, Welfare, and Recreation,
Lee brings a much-desired genre of entertainment to military personnel.
"I have done two tours for the Air Force in Europe and one for
the Navy in Europe last year. This is my first tour in Asia," said Lee from her tour in Korea. "It's so cool
because I'm an Asian American and I love being able to see so many new faces and lifestyles. I love entertaining
and making the troops laugh and letting them know how appreciated they are by us back home."
Lee, who was the former World #1 and Player of the Year,
was ranked as the third Most Powerful Person in the sport by Billiards Digest in 2003. She received the Billiard
& Bowling Institute of America's Industry Service Award in 2002, was a gold medalist of the 2001 World Games and
authored The Black Widow's Guide to Killer Pool in 2000.
"I had the opportunity to play some of the kids at the teen
center and I was surprised how many of the very young kids were quite good at pool. We had a blast," said Lee.
Lee, who was diagnosed with scoliosis at age 13, serves as the National
Spokesperson for the Scoliosis Association and sits on the Board of Trustees for the Women's Sports Foundation.
