Armed Forces Entertainment takes Lemme on first international tour

R&B artist Lemme is no stranger to the entertainment industry. Appearing in Washington D.C. shows and festivals since the age of 11, Lemme will showcase her talent to U.S. troops during her first international tour with Armed Forces Entertainment December 28 – January 23.

“Lemme is extremely talented,” said Capt. Trevor Garrett, U.S. Army and circuit manager for the Pacific region for Armed Forces Entertainment. “After listening to her package I knew she was one of the best entertainers to send out.”
Primarily a solo act, Lemme has spent the last few months working with her newly assembled band to develop an unforgettable performance.

“My manager arranged this band specifically for the Armed Forces Entertainment tour and we’ve been working really hard on creating a new routine and revamping some of my songs,” she said. “I’m really excited for the opportunity to be a part of something so great for those who serve and protect our nation.”

The Washington D.C. native recently launched her debut album; “Take the Time” produced by De-U Records and has quickly gained popularity with east coast nightclubs, colleges and universities.

She’s got a sultry R&B style with a Hip-Hop feel that people really like,” said Lemme’s manager, Dwight Mims.

Lemme recently toured with rap group Sporty Thievz, appearing on Black Entertainment Television’s Soundstage television series. She’s also been featured on XM Radio’s “Too Much Information” show.

Lemme is blessed with many gifts and it is evident in her performances,” said Mr. Mims. “She’s been laying the foundation to becoming a premiere vocalist for years and it is time for her to share her talents with the rest of the world.”
