Up-and-coming hip hop duo Bad Boy Bad Girl and pop/R&B artist Carla will bring their high-energy urban sound to troops stationed in Kosovo, Bosnia and the United Kingdom.

July 15-Aug. 5 as they embark on their first Armed Forces Entertainment tour. "We are excited about bringing Bad Boy Bad Girl on tour for our overseas troops, because we think they could be the next big thing in the hip hop world," said Capt. Aubrey Semrau with the Air Force, who is circuit manager for the European region for Armed Forces Entertainment. "In addition, Carla will bring to our troops her special blend of upbeat, fun music and a great stage performance."

Bad Boy Bad Girl duo, Ali-Starr and Sillawet, have opened for numerous popular rap groups, including Naughty by Nature, Ruff Ryders, Black Moon, Rakim and The Roots.

Their lyrics about the struggles, joys and pain of life in their South Jersey 'hood, fueled by their dreams of success, make Bad Boy Bad Girl a group many can connect with. Their single, "Need 2 Know," has been a Number 1 single in DJ Record Pools throughout the U.S. and Canada".

"It is truly a blessing for us to have this opportunity to perform for our troops overseas. We want to be able to give them a taste of something they've been missing while they are far away from home," said Sillawet.

In addition, pop/R&B artist Carla will open for Bad Boy Bad Girl. Her single "If You Want My Love," has been climbing the R&B charts. "We're going to give our servicemen and women a high-energy show filled with attitude that they won't soon forget. We apply the same attitude onstage that they apply to the job they do for our country," said Carla.
