“This is huge for us, it’s a great and patriotic opportunity for us do what we can to help while having the trip of a lifetime. We feel so fortunate to be able to play for such an amazing audience,” said Christian Schauf, vocals and guitar. “ On a personal level my brother served in Iraq for 18 months, so this is a real honor for us.”

With two critically acclaimed albums under their belts and after touring over 100 shows each year, the group has established a loyal fan base across the nation. Catchpenny has also gained industry notoriety by collaborating creatively with producer Micheal Bland, Phil Solem of the Rembrants, Tommy Barbarella who has worked with Prince and Tommy Stinson of Guns and Roses fame. Additionally, they have opened for a variety of national acts including the Gin Blossoms, 3 Doors Down, Lifehouse, Hanson, Cowboy Mouth, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Soul Asylum.
Catchpenny’s music has been featured on national television spots for ESPN and Arizona Jeans. The band is also heavily involved with a non-profit group called CureDuchenne.
