Sharing the common goal of supporting the troops, Jennifer Rawlings and Danielle Broussard are scheduled to bring the house down with laughter, at installations throughout Germany. These two comedians plan on bringing to military personnel a little bit of home through their comical routines on everyday American life.

Rawlings, has entertained as many as 60,000 people and has opened for renowned artists Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and Lonestar. Not only does Rawlings travel all over the United States with her act, she has also entertained the troops overseas several times, including two Iraq tours. What she likes most about touring with AFE and considers important is the ability to reach out to military personnel at remote installations.

“ Jennifer Rawlings and Danielle Broussard stage dynamic shows, bringing the troops energy up and placing them in high spirits,” said Air Force Captain Aubrey Semrau, Armed Forces Entertainment circuit manager for the European circuit.

“Military personnel are always appreciative of entertainers who share their talent as a means of support.”

A comic for 12 years, Broussard has been featured on Last Comic Standing, Late Night with Conan O’Brien and VH1 All Access. Having family members in the military has given Broussard a greater understanding of what the troops go through on a daily basis and has driven her passion to perform overseas.

A little known fact about Broussard is that she is a talented ice figure skater. She considers one of her proudest accomplishments to be when she competed in the U.S. Nationals.

“ I was proud to represent the United States in international skating competitions and I really appreciate the opportunity to entertain the troops and contribute in any way possible,” said Broussard.

Recently, Rawlings has been featured on Comedy Central, Tonight Show, CMT, FOX, PBS and a syndicated radio show. She is also very involved in special projects including a documentary on women in foreign countries and a children’s book. Rawlings feels that being a mother is one of her greatest achievements and challenges.

“ Being a part of this tour means so much to me personally, because I have seen through my travels how one person can have a tremendous impact on many ,” said Rawlings “I have a profound respect for the men and women in our armed forces who have chosen this as a career and I want to show them my patronage.”
