California rock group embarks on first tour with Armed Forces Entertainment

Blazing-hot rock band Handsome Devil will bring its "in your face" brand of rock and roll to U.S. troops stationed in Europe, December 26 - January 13.  The Orange County, California-band is known for its extreme on-stage energy and its unfailing ability to keep audiences on their feet wanting more.

Formed in 1999 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Danny Walker, guitarist Billie Stevens and drummer Keith Morgan, the band quickly gained a loyal following among fans in California and across the nation.  Today, bassist Brian Wedmore completes the band, which has released three albums:  "Love and Kisses from the Underground" (2001), "Knock Yourself Out" (2004) and "Fully Automatic" (2006).

"We are very pumped up about getting to perform for our troops stationed overseas, especially for the holidays," said Danny Walker.  "So many bands never get a chance to do something like this.  This is a way for us to show our appreciation for the courageous choice they have made to serve and protect our country.  We are going to put on a loud, kicking rock show that our troops won't soon forget!"

Handsome Devil's musical influences include The Beatles, Elvis, The Clash, The Ramones, KISS, Elvis Costello, Bruce Springsteen and Bob Marley.  Yet the band's sound is uniquely its own style of rugged, no-nonsense rock and roll.

"Handsome Devil delivers an explosive live performance that will have our troops rocking out to their sound," said Marine Corps Captain Jesse Davidson, Armed Forces Entertainment circuit manager for Europe and the Mediterranean.  "They perform a great combination of original tunes and popular covers, so they have something to offer everyone."
