| International Championship Wrestling will bring their energetic style of professional wrestling to U.S. troops stationed in the Pacific 10 April 3-May 07. Featuring a full lineup of celebrity wrestlers, the International Championship Wrestling (ICW) events consistently win rave reviews both at home and overseas. The St. Louis-based company has performed for U.S. troops since 1999 at bases throughout the United States. This will be ICW's fifth, overseas tour with Armed Forces Entertainment.
"It is a great honor and a privilege to be able to entertain our troops overseas," said ICW tour manager Henry Hubbard. "By putting on an unforgettable show, we hope to take their minds off everything that's going on in the world and give them some entertainment from home."
ICW is bringing 12 of its top wrestling superstars on the "Pacific Invasion" tour. They include Billy Kidman, former World Championship Wrestling (WCW) cruiserweight titleholder; Norman Smiley, former WCW Hardcore Champion; and perennial fan favorite, The Clown.
"We are very pleased to take ICW on tour for our troops in the Pacific," said Air Force Captain A. Semrau, Armed Forces Entertainment Pacific circuit manager. "Their performances are always huge crowd-pleasers. What's more, the wrestlers love to spend time with our troops and their families, talking one-on-one, signing autographs and just hanging out."
