| The comedy trio, Ineligible Bachelors, will entertain U.S. troops in the Mediterranean with their irreverent brand of humor, April 15 - May 5. The group consists of popular comedians Tommy Savitt, Dez Reed and Myles Morrison, who liken their show, Ineligible Bachelors, to a male version of "Sex and the City."
"This show is about three guys you don't want to bring home to mother," said Savitt with a chuckle. "We're the guys your mama warned you about."
Savitt says the show has a heavy relationship theme with lots of material focused on the male perspective about relationships gone awry. "This show is very well built for our troops. It really hits their funny bone," he added.
Over the past decade, Savitt has performed for U.S. troops stationed all over the world and says it's his favorite thing to do. "Performing for our troops is the most rewarding thing I've ever done," he said. "They are truly the most appreciative audiences you will ever find."
When not traveling to bases overseas, Savitt spends much of his time performing in New York and Los Angeles. He won the prestigious 2007 Boston Comedy Festival and has headlined the Saskatoon Great Plains Comedy Festival and the FunnyFest Calgary Comedy Festival. Savitt is regularly heard on Sirius and XM radio.
Canadian funnyman Dez Reed began his comedy career after being honorably discharged from the Canadian Armed Forces. He has performed all over North America, including performances at the famous Stand Up New York and the Comic Strip in New York City.
Fellow Canadian comic Myles Morrison has quickly gained a popular following in Canada and the U.S. In his rookie year, he was won the "Search for Sasketchewan's Funniest New Comic" and was named the FunnyFest Calgary Comedy Festival Rookie of the Year in 2007.
"These comedians put on a great standup performance with material that everyone can easily relate to," says Savitt. "They will have the audience on the edge of their seats laughing at their ability to put a hilarious spin on situations we've all been in or hope to never be in!"
