Country-rock band to tour with Armed Forces Entertainment

Known for their eclectic sound, the Lost Immigrants bring together country, southern rock, pop and blues to form their own kind of style. The Lost Immigrants will tour with Armed Forces Entertainment through the Pacific region entertaining the troops April 15-May 13.

“We are really looking forward to our upcoming tour. Supporting our troops is so important and we are grateful for the opportunity to entertain them,” said James Dunning, lead singer of the Lost Immigrants. “The men and women who serve and protect our country day in and day out deserve to kick up their heels every once in a while and that’s where we come in.”

The band came together in December 2004 comprised of college friends and former band mates with one united dream of creating country/Americana music. Based in Texas, the Lost Immigrants have played at hundreds of venues throughout the Lone Star State and Tennessee. The largest venue the band has played was the festival outside the 2005 Alamo Bowl in San Antonio, TX for an estimated 5,000 people.

Recently, the Lost Immigrant’s hit song “Judgment Day” made the top 50 on the Americana Charts. One of the band’s more remarkable achievements included receiving a record contract with Shiner Records after only playing four shows together. In 2006, they opened for the 13th annual Shiner Bocktoberfest in Shiner, TX.

“The Lost Immigrants will definitely appeal to a diverse range of military personnel based on their wide musical range and their highly-entertaining performance,” said Frank Tagatac, Armed Force Entertainment regional coordinator for the Pacific circuit. “We look forward to supporting their tour and expect to have a great turnout at the concerts.”
