| Burbank, California-based alternative, rock band Moon in Leo will bring their distinctive style of rock music to the troops stationed throughout the Mediterranean on their first tour with Armed Forces Entertainment. Moon in Leo will perform for military personnel stationed in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Egypt and Greece October 25- November 19.
“I became aware of Armed Forces Entertainment while I was in the Air Force and decided that touring for the troops was definitely something I wanted to be involved with once I got out,” said former Air Force Captain, Ross Bielanksi, vocalist and guitarist for Moon in Leo. “This is such a gratifying opportunity for us. We feel privileged to do our part for the men and women who do so much for us and are so far away from home.” Bielanski who had played with two of the current band members in a previous band, rejoined the group in 2005 after completing his seven-year service in the Air Force.
Originally from Mariposa, California, Moon in Leo, consists of vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist, Bret Wice; guitarist and vocalist Ross Bielanski; bassist and backing vocalist, Jeremy Clark and drummer Amador Solis. In 2005, Moon in Leo recorded their EP CD titled, “…And It’s All For You” and began playing live shows, established a fan base throughout Mariposa County and the California Central Valley.

Since being voted “Best Band from Mariposa” (Mariposa Gazzette Readers’ Poll 2005, 2006), as well as achieving noteworthy success throughout the Fresno area, Moon in Leo has decided to move to L.A. in order to reach a larger fan base. Moon in Leo has played many venues in the greater Los Angeles area including the renowned Whiskey A Go Go and House of Blues on Sunset Boulevard.
