Popular Massachusettes band tours with Armed Forces Entertainment for the second time

Worcester, Massachusettes-based band, OSB, will be taking their pop-rock sound to troops stationed through out the Caribbean December 28- January 9. OSB will be performing at U.S. bases in Cuba and various other locations.

“I love the fact that we can try to do something for the troops because there isn’t enough gratitude for these brave men and women who serve this country,” said Sam James, lead vocalist for OSB. ”We just want to try and give them a little taste of home while they’re so far away; especially during the holidays.”

Members of OSB include Aaron Tringuk, drummer; Kevin Hennessy, keyboardist; Paul Chase, bass player; Alex Attella, lead Guitarist and Sam James, lead singer/guitarist. OSB’s sound has been described as a fusion of rock, blues, jam, and groove-based music.

As a pop-rock band who’s mature stage presence combined with original, yet catchy music appeals to wide range of audiences, OSB has opened for Gavin DeGraw and other national acts including Lynyrd Skynyrd and .38 Special, New Found Glory, American Hi-Fi and Ingram Hill.

Having been awarded Best Band, Best Album of the year and Best Male Vocalist by Pulse Magazine in April 2006, as well as receiving critical acclaim for both their first album, “The Grey Area” and their sophomore release, “Transitions,” OSB has become a highly-recognized name selling out shows throughout the Northeast.

“OSB has something to offer everyone, with their catchy yet unique sound,” said Navy Lt. Jarod Trujillo, Armed Forces Entertainment circuit manager for the Caribbean. “These guys have a great stage presence and their enthusiasm to be playing for the troops shines through their energetic performances. The troops are in for a real holiday treat.”
