| The St. Louis Rams Cheerleaders will entertain troops and their families stationed in Korea, January 28 - February 5. Twelve members of the cheerleading squad will visit U.S. bases in Korea, where they will perform their variety show and meet and greet members of the military and their families. Their performance showcases many of the routines they perform on the football field, as well as singing, dancing and lively, audience-interaction segments.
"We are so honored to be asked by Armed Forces Entertainment to tour with them," said Theresa Mancini, cheerleader coordinator for the St. Louis Rams Cheerleaders. "We are thrilled to get the chance to meet with the troops and say thank you for what you do for our country. I know the troops get excited to see the girls when they come visit, but the truth is, the girls are even more excited to see them."
This diverse group of accomplished women includes numerous full-time college students as well as professionals in fields such as nursing and elementary education. In addition to cheering on the Rams at home games, the Rams Cheerleaders are actively involved in the community. This past year, they completed over 600 appearances in St. Louis and surrounding areas. In addition to local appearances, members of the squad have traveled nationally and internationally, entertaining audiences in Austria, the Bahamas, Bahrain, the Dominican Republic, Japan, Korea, Mexico and numerous locations in the U.S.
"These beautiful and talented ladies put on a great show that I know our troops and their families will really enjoy," Frank Tagatac, Armed Forces Entertainment regional and circuit manager for the Pacific. "The energy and enthusiasm they bring to their performance is sure to lift everyone's spirits."
