Adam's Attic(AA)

Every band dreams of touring the world and sharing their music. For a select few, like Adam’s Attic (AA), the elusive dream materializes. Ushering in 2006, the original pop/rock quintet from New Orleans, Louisiana, embarked on their first 14-day European tour canvassing Portugal, Spain and Italy.

Rising from adversity in the aftermath of 2005 Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, AA relocated to Los Angeles, California. The band started seizing one success after another by performing at well-known music halls like House of Blues, Hard Rock Cafe, Roxy, Key Club, and BelAge Hotel and booking concert tours all over the world.

Joe Mennitt, head of the Mediterranean circuit said, “Adam’s Attic received more positive responses than any group in the past several years. Your tour was a big success!! …You can also tell me other places in the world that you want to go to and I will refer you… Thank you for sharing your exciting music.”

Initiating a Hot AC radio campaign this spring, rotation adds were inevitable. Tom Meeley, PD of iRadio Los Angeles, Indie 104.7 FM, said, “Adam’s Attic will reach a wide demographic of music purchasers.”

In 2005, AA released the EP, “…in the blink of an eye” featuring “Autumn”, penned about the sacrifice and hardship of American soldiers who leave behind their loved ones. The five-piece accepted numerous invitations to honor the military on television and at concerts to celebrate patriotic holidays. In fact, the group was flown in by the Soldiers’ Angels and Young Heroes foundations for a Colorado Springs concert, which boasted eleven thousand in attendance.

As independent artists, AA knows the meaning of developing a solid marketing strategy and building a strong foundation. With each success, just as AA had risen to become darlings of New Orleans, they are rising stars in the world market:
• Securing digital distribution via Apple iTunes, Verizon Wireless, MSN Music, and MusicNet - to name a few of the 29 partners in the U.S., Germany, Poland, Japan, Sweden, and Australia.
• Selling out coveted concert venues like House of Blues and Hard Rock Cafe as headliners
• Accumulating a repertoire of more than 41 original songs
• Wrapping up a coast-to-coast summer 2005 tour from Miami to Los Angeles
• Opening for Lifehouse, Happy Endings, 12 Stones, Sister Hazel, Gin Blossoms, Spin Doctors, Deadeye Dick, and Dash Rip Rock.
• Fostering affiliate relationships with Elixir Strings, Red Bull, Gallien Kruger, and Dunlop
• Recording with Richard Serotta, the engineer of six Grammy nominated, as well as, three Grammy awarded recordings from 2000-2005
• Signing on for a 14-day European tour from Jan. 23-Feb. 5, 2006
• Signing on for a 10-day Greenland tour from June 28-July 7, 2006
