Lee Marvin Adams
If you’ve never seen him, you’ve never seen anything like him. A “country boy” at heart, Lee Marvin Adams is funny, and much more. An award winning member of Toastmasters International and former newspaper columnist, Lee captivates audiences with his wide range of humorous observations and “somewhat informed” points of view. The demand for his unique style of standup comedy is on the rise. His unusual takes on marriage and relationships, children, politics and corporate America include something for everyone. His life was made for the comedy stage: raised in the “country” with 13 siblings, a career in the military, a bad marriage, single parenthood, a good marriage (that has its moments), and three children that need a lot of love. Lee Marvin Adams has seen it all, and most of it was funny.

Lee believes, “Most things are funny, depending on how you look at them. Sometimes laughing is the only way to deal with it.” He tells you from the beginning, “It’s not true because I said it!” He also encourages audiences to, “Stop me when I start lyin’!” They never stop him, and they never stop laughing. His stories are “...mostly true, and even with the ones that aren’t you can see how it could have turned out that way.” Lee entertains corporate and comedy club audiences with his unusual angles on the funny stuff we see everyday. Lee’s diverse background allows him to explore many opportunities away from the stage. He is a poet and the author of several highly acclaimed short stories, many of which are literary versions of stage material. His work has appeared in newspapers and literary journals, and Lee was a featured reader of original manuscripts at the 2003 Louisiana Book Festival.

Lee has performed with such talents as Adele Givens, John Witherspoon, Mike Epps, Carl Labove, Billy D. Washington, Cowboy Bill Martin, Steve Hirst, Thea Vidale, and many more.

Lee Marvin Adams is an emerging comedy talent you must see. If you’ve never seen him, you’ve never seen anything like him.
