Katie Rae Davis

Few singers of any age have the talent and ability to captivate an audience as well as 18 year old KATIE RAE DAVIS. A native of a small East Texas town, she has been performing for Oprys, Rodeos, Festivals, and sporting events since the age of 7!

With a voice as pure and on par with any of the major female recording artists of the day, it is extremely refreshing to see her enjoy her live performances as much as those to which she entertains. Her repertoire includes nearly any “cover” in country music, to select patriotic standards, to a very mature and sincere list of self composed originals. She can simply “read” an audience and with or without her tight band deliver a moving and well balanced show.

It is precisely this talent and energy that won her the 2008 Rising Star award from the “Texas Music Association” as well as an opening position on the Academy of Country Music’s official after show, “All Star Jam”, in Las Vegas in May 2008.

She spent the summer of 2008 writing and working in the studio with famed Nashville producer Blake Chancey, and performing with headliners including Montgomery Gentry, The Commodores, Gary Allan, Tim McGraw and Trisha Yearwood.
