Laura Sullivan

Laura Sullivan

Laura was born and raised in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. She began playing the piano at an early age and throughout the years played the flute, piano, bass-flute, banjo, guitar, Irish fife and even dabbled with the bagpipes.

Her first real singing experience was in the summer of 2000 when she won first place at the county fair.  Since then, she has had the honor of opening for Keith Urban, Darryl Worley, Doug Stone, Leroy Parnell, David Ball, and Billy Joe Royal.

In 2004, she won the local and regional East coast competition for the television show Nashville Star. She went on to become one of the top finalists for season two of the show.

Since being on Nashville Star she has performed with Trace Adkins, Reba McEntire, Big & Rich, Gretchen Wilson, Tracy Byrd, Phil Vasser, Chely Wright, Andy Griggs, Jeff Bates, Rachel Proctor, and David Lee Murphy.

A little over two years ago she moved to Nashville, and has worked periodically for LeAnn Rimes. During the past year, she decided to devote herself solely to writing songs for a new album which she continues to work on between touring dates.
