Leah Devon

Superlatives are inadequate to describe the versatile unique sound of Leah DeVon.  With a clean, melodic sound and the ability to straddle seemingly opposite worlds, Leah has become one of the most popular indie female R&B/POP singers in 2007. The singer/songwriter a native of Fort Walton Beach Florida moved to Atlanta to turn her dream into a reality.  Leah has opened for musical acts Earth Wind & Fire, Chaka Khan, Pieces of a Dream, The Backstreet Boys, David Hollister, Brick, Frankie Beverly & Maze and Destiny’s Child. She also headlined at the Hard Rock Live in Orlando Florida. Leah had the privilege to record a duet with legendary music producer Kashif (Whitney Houston, Kenny G and Mariah Carey). She has also recorded withhit makers Full Force (Lisa, Lisa, Ashanti, James Brown, LFO).Her musical influences include R&B balladeer Brian McKnight, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Nancy Wilson and songwriter Dianne Warren.

In 2003, Leah co- wrote and recorded “The Victory Is Mine” for Mary Kay Cosmetics; Inc.Top National Sales Director Pamela Shaw. Shaw booked Leah nationally to perform for the company.  As Ms. Shaw stated “A song like this catches on.  It is used at our workshops.  Word spreads through our voice mail that hits some 9000 people a day. It also spreads through our e-mail, which travels endlessly! The song has already been embraced by a large audience in the Mary Kay world but the potential for it is huge”.

In 2006, Leah went into the studio to record her second studio album. It’s been a long process but I’m so proud of the record. “I’ve been given the opportunity to write an album that is reflective of me. Thru my journeys I’ve had the great privilege to meet and record with some amazing producers; who so generously have given me their time and shared their talent.” It all comes down to timing in this industry, and I believe that this is my time”. Leah was also selected to be the face for the “Diva’s Choice” international fine jewelry campaign by award winning jewelry designer Steven Zale. She joins supermodel Rachael Hunter and Seventeen Magazine in endorsing this jewelry line. Her album cover will appear on all of the campaign ads that she appears in for the company (Zalemark Inc.). This international songstress has been creating a worldwide buzz with her music. Leah now invites the world to “Come Over.” The title track of her album.
