Lori Passineau

Music and performance has always been a part of me as long as I can remember.  I was raised in a small town in upstate New York and knew in my early days of school productions, music and theater, that I had found the very thing that touched my heart and soul.  The thrill of music and performance continued with a concert tour of Europe, a variety of folk, rock, blues, and acappella harmony groups, various stage productions, years of intense vocal and performance training, competitions and awards.  After writing for several years, my poetry evolved into song lyrics, and I experienced the process and joy of creating music. I was inspired by Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Billy Joel, Bette Midler, Bonnie Rait, Etta James, Tina Turner, Jim Morrison, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Steven Tyler, and Mick Jaggar among others.  Nothing gives me more pleasure than to take the stage and rock!  My gutsy, sultry style has been compared to many but in fact is unique.

It is my desire to create and record quality music – heart & soul grabbing, feel good music that leaves you wanting more, and to share that music through recordings, film, Internet, and my first love – stage performance.
