On Tracy Lane

On Tracy Lane

On Tracy Lane, the brainchild of singer/songwriter Darryn Yates, is a modern twist on classic 80’s pop rock. Schooled in the vocal stylings of Dave Pirner and Tom Petty, OTL captures the spirit of bands like The Cars while revising their retro sound with driving guitars and lush vocal arrangements. Some are calling On Tracy Lane a modern day Bon Jovi. On Tracy Lane has opened for acts such as American Hi-Fi, Local H, Avril Lavigne, Phantom Planet, Butch Walker and shot a music video in Los Angeles for their song ‘Back to Maybe’, featuring Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls, Party of Five).

On Tracy Lane’s fans, 75,000 on their mailing list from the U.S. and abroad, have gobbled up 20,000 copies of the OTL EP. On Tracy Lane recently finished up 3 new tracks in a Nashville studio with producer Lauren Stalnecker. OTL has licensed 5 songs to MTV for their TV shows “Next”, “The Real World” and “Road Rules”.
