For over a decade The Rebel Crew have been producing fresh alternative dance, lounge music and remixes that thrive on heavy basslines, latin, reggae, organic breakbeats, hip hop, funk, soul, jazz, rock, dub and electronica. They have been featured in top industry magazines including URB, Spun, Mixer, The Houston Press, Philadelphia Weekly, DJ, DJ Mag, Billboard and XLR8R. With 12” and CD releases out on indie and major labels including Sunburn Recordings (TEX MEX EFX), Bastard Jazz(BSTRD BOOTS) and Starlight Beats & Breaks (TRAXX FROM DA WAXX VOL. 1, THE SWEET SPOT, REBEL CREW TOOLZ, DUBZ & REMIXES VOL. 1 and NISTYLE), The Rebel Crew are now gearing up for their biggest sound squash yet. Their second full length album release entitled, “REBEL RADIO” is scheduled for release early 2008. Starlight Beats & Breaks Record Label is Rebel Crew music with a cast of super urban musicians featured on our releases including Gavin Hardkiss, Jake Childs, Dj Hal, Mark Sound and Wazulu the Ill Dravidian just to name a few.
