Past Events

S.K.Y. 2009 Heartland Tour in May:  The tour hit 3 cities in the American Midwest:  Omaha, Nebraska; St. Joseph, Missouri; and Kansas City, Missouri.  Events in each city included youth camps and basketball clinics, community service projects, and of course the S.K.Y. All-Star Game.  We’re proud to say that all of the events were a great success for the S.K.Y. team and for all of our fans and youth in attendance.

S.K.Y. Bermuda All-Star Memorial Weekend in July:  The S.K.Y. Streetball Syndicate, along with Julius “Dr. J” Erving and Bill Russell, were the guests of honor at the Bermuda Basketball Association All-Star Memorial Weekend.  The event included clinics and camps for Bermudan youth, the Bermuda High-School All-Star Game, and the PBL Women’s All-Star Game.  The highlight of the weekend was the exhibition All-Star Game between S.K.Y. and the Bermuda National Select Team.

2009 Moscow Open in September:  The S.K.Y. Streetball Syndicate was invited to represent the United States in the 2009 Moscow Open, the largest streetball tournament in Europe.  While in Moscow the team participated in the tournament, hosted autograph sessions, and met with their Russian fans.  The team has already been invited back to attend as guests next year.
