The Scarlet Ending

The Scarlet Ending began as an acoustic project by twin sisters Kaleena and Kayleigh Goldsworthy, in Syracuse, NY. Their very first demo, recorded while the two were still in high school, gained airplay on local radio, and people began to take notice.

Their first CD release, a self titled 5 song EP, won a Syracuse Area Music Award (SAMMY) for best pop record of 2005. In 2006, they released their first full length CD, "Cries and Whispers" on indie label Fierce Little Records. This CD was nominated for a SAMMY, and was heralded by the Syracuse Post Standard as one of the top 10 CD releases of 2006.  Additionally, as a result of an encounter at SXSW in Austin, TX, MTV licensed “Cries & Whispers” and the track, "The Way We Used to Be" became a featured song on their hit show, "The Hills".

On stage, cello, bass, electric guitar and drums now compliment the girls’ sound. They are currently preparing to head back in to the studio to record their third CD, to be released in November 2008.
