Solution

Created in early 2005 and based out of Sioux Falls, SD, Solution is a mixture of many musical elements.  Funk, Jazz, Rock, Latin, Pop, and Soul just to name a few.  As the 2005 winner of the Battle of the Bands, Solution has toured throughout the Midwest and continues to expand its fan base daily.   They have played South by Southwest Music Festival(Austin, TX), JazzFest 2007(Sioux Falls,SD), Summer Jam 2007 (Sioux Falls, SD), Deadwood Jam 2007(Deadwood, SD) and have shared the stage with many great bands including Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Blues Traveler, Particle, and Karl Denson Trio.

Solution has released a full-length album titled “Habitat” on Aquarium records and has recently recorded a new 6 song EP with Nashville producer Chris Grainger(sixpence none the richer, Wilco).  The EP features appearances by Grammy winning saxophonist Jeff Coffin(Bela Fleck and the Flecktones) and programming by Brad Bowden(Sub ID) and will be released fall 2007.

Music from Solution has been heard on MTV’s “Scarred” and can also be heard in upcoming episodes of “Bad Girls Club” on the Oxygen network and MTV’s “Road Rules Extreme Challenge”.  Solution's influences are evident in their music with sounds reminiscent of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Santana, and even Prince.  With an explosive live show Solution is quickly showing crowds that they are the next breakout band from the Midwest.
