WRC Heading Out For 55th Military Appreciation Tour

Jaclyn here, and I wanted to tell you just how excited I am for Super Bowl Sunday! Very shortly, some of my teammates and I will be traveling to the Middle East for our 55th Military Appreciation Tour! One of the best parts about the tour is that we get to celebrate this year’s Super Bowl with some of our nation’s very own servicemen and women. Visiting our soldiers overseas has become one of my favorite parts of being one of your Washington Redskins Cheerleaders. What’s even better is this time, we’ll also have a few NFL alumni traveling with us!

As First Ladies, our aim is to bring a little piece of home to our soldiers overseas. Many of them are away from their families for long periods of time, working hard to keep us all safe and make our world a better place. Another aspect of the Tour that I love is getting the opportunity to be right there where our soldiers live and work daily, and learning exactly what they do every day. It’s so thrilling when they even let us test out their equipment! My appreciation for our military has grown tremendously since I’ve been a part of the Redskins organization, and I’m very thankful for that. My stepfather served in the United States Navy for many years, so it’s an honor for me to see a little part of what he experienced.

Not only will we be watching the Super Bowl in the Middle East, and visiting different bases, but we’ll also be performing for our servicemen and women! We’ve been working hard in the studio putting together our Tour 55 show, and what an honor it will be to stand in front of our soldiers and entertain them. Be sure to follow us on our social media platforms so you can experience every bit of the Tour with us!

Thank you to Armed Forces Entertainment for sending the ladies.
